Mistakes in practice

Reading through Sun Tzu's The Art of War, I was reminded of two things. First, constant practice is critcial. Secondly, mistakes in battle are more likely to lead to defeat.

Perfection is unatainable. Failure is inevitable. Still, while practicing for perfection, excellence for battle is discovered.

To fail forward happens during practice. To fail backwards, happens in battle.

Are you practicing or are you fighting?

Should you you be doing the other instead?

Intimidating Vision

This past summer at the Willow Creek Association's Global Leadership Summit I heard Steven Furtick, Lead Pastor for Elevation Church in Charlotte NC, say the following.

"If your vision isn't intimidating, it may be insulting to God."

Is your vision big enough? Does your faith believe it can happen?
