Out Live Your Life

A few months ago, Max Lucado was in town and stopped by our office to speak to our team on the subject of his latest book Outlive Your Life: You Were Made to Make A Difference. He wrote this book for the benefit of World Vision, where all of the proceeds of this work will go.

The premise of the book is to live your life in way that your actions keep on influencing others, even after you take your last breath. From that perspective the book is inspiring when it comes to social justice, but the subject matter of this book probably isn't anything you haven't heard before. Still, it is a good reminder of the direction we should all be working toward as we interact with others in this world as a disciple of Christ. As always, Lucado does a great job of telling stories to inspire you.

Hopefully, this book helps me see the world today just a little more differently than I saw it yesterday, and that's a good thing.

Here is what Donald Miller, author of A Million Miles in a Thousand Years and Blue Like Jazz had to say on his blog about Lucado's book.

Buckle Up

Every time we get in the car, my son reminds everyone to buckle up. That's why I think this commercial is fabulous.
