Tomorrow is a Theory

Rosamund Stone Zander & Benjamin Zander quoted neurophysiologist Donald O. Hebb in their book The Art of Possibility.
"Einstein himself in 1926 told Heisenberg it was nonsense to found a theory on observable facts alone: 'In reality the very opposite happens. It is theory which decides what we can observe.'" (p11)
When my mother faced an illness that ultimately ended her life, people unwittingly asked her "how long do you have to live?" Her response was always "I've not received any papers in the mail guaranteeing tomorrow." Most people realized the same applied to them. Tomorrow is not an observable fact. Tomorrow is only a theory.

Therefore, anything could happen tomorrow. Don't let a bad day today, define tomorrow. In theory, tomorrow may be the greatest day of your life. Appreciating the endless possibilities of tomorrow will redefine the life you live today.

Being a Good Christian

I read the following quote the other day that really stood out to me. But when I saw who the quote was credited to, it had a chilling effect on me.
"One is either a good German or a good Christian. It is impossible to be both at the same time." - Adolf Hitler
As evil as Hitler may have been I agree with this point. When deciding to follow Christ you are choosing not to follow anything else. That means your identity as a Christian cannot come from your patriotism, your loyalty to a social society, business, and perhaps even a "church".

If you lived in Germany in the 1940's which decision would have been easier; to become a good German or a good Christian? Today, which decision is easier; to be a good American or a good Christian?

Can you be both at the same time?

Landing Page Optimizer

Marketing Experiments Professional Certification Program

Saturday, I spent the day at a Marketing Experiments Landing Page Optimization Certification Workshop. I'm now "certified" to optimize your our landing pages.

If you are in marketing, you may be familiar with Marketing Experiments (MECLABS) or a few of their companies such as Marketing Sherpa. MECLABS does a lot of things right but what impresses me most is the leadership. The Director, Dr. Flint McGlaughlin, is sharp. His accomplishments and credentials are inspiring and his personal notes are nothing less.

They have a lot of valuable information available to you for free.
