Patriots and Buccaneers in England

This past weekend, the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers played a regular season NFL game in England. The Patriots won 35-7.

I thought it was funny given that the sources of those two mascots have a lot of history with the military of Great Brittan. I don't imagine anyone in England got upset, but I thought it was worth noting for my own odd sense of humor.

I also thought it might be worth noting that Tennessee Titans didn't lose a game while resting on their bye week. This also means that I didn't get negative points for my fantasy league.

That game was on while we were eating dinner at a pub called The Greyhound in London. People were still talking about it a few days later when we were getting ready to leave. It's funny, but I never thought English people would get into American football very much.
