Yep...that's all I have to say today. Murphy sucks! The planets are aligning and he is hitting us hard. I'm not going to get into particulars, but when it rains it pours and today it is pouring.

Well, Ben, I can sympathize...our Dish has been out since Monday, about lunch. We had tv...well, we honky rigged TV for the living room only. They were suppose to come today, Thurs, between 12-5. I called at 6. They are on their way, dispatch said. I called at 7:30, dispatch is closed but the operator said he is still "out" and we are next on the list. It is now 8:05 pm and we are still waiting.....yes, Murphy sucks!

Sorry to hear that. I'm moving like a crazed gazelle on step two. We turned on our A/C on the hottest day of the spring thus far, and no cold air. I have to buy a new junker because my old one won't pass PA inspection this year.
Looks like Murphy's kicking me back to step one for a month.
@Jason: A/C is one of our problems. Sorry to hear you are facing it too.
@Gwenda: I never liked Dish either. Hopefully they will fix before a new season of The Office. There was a story in Reader's Digest a few months ago about a 80 year old woman who had the same problem with Comcast. She ended up taking a hammer into the local office and bashed up all the office equipment in front of everyone! I would have loved to seen that.

Well, Terry said if we have cable available any time soon, he is calling Dish to tell them their equipment is setting at the end of our driveway for them to pick up! It is 4:00 pm Friday and they still haven't showed up. Its been sub-contracted out to someone, who happens to be in Dickson today. Guess we will "rig" again for the weekend. What do you do,,,they are kinda like doctors, you are at their mercy, well, at least for now!
